Outside your home it may be dark, cold, but inside it is peaceful, light and comfortable and, whether your living room is huge or cozy, it’s always what we want everybody to remember. In the living room good amount of light is needed and can be directed towards whatever you choose to highlight – a wall painting perhaps, a piece of sculpture or some flowers and plants on the corner: the choice is mainly yours. Using proper lighting techniques, your living room can change moods and setting at a touch of a button.

The furnishings that you select for the living room vary based on the space available and your taste. Avoid adding too much furniture which can make the area cluttered and difficult to move around freely. Remember less is better.  A few larger pieces can be more attractive, like a sofa and chair vs. sectional sofa, 2 chairs etc. The size of your space determines the amount of furniture you should have.

Your home should feel spacious and comfortable regardless of its size. Remembering these tips will make your space look like you hired a professional and elegant. The living room is usually where you invite your guest to relax, make it a good first impression of your interior.
